LiveDrive is an Online storage and data backup provider. The company was founded in 2008 and is based in the UK.
Users of LiveDrive have an unlimited amount of online storage space. That space can be used to backup computer files such as office documents, pictures, music and videos. All that is needed is the download and installation of a small application. The program facilitates the backup and synchronization process of a user's computer to LiveDrive's secure data centers. Data that is backed up online can be used to restore lost computer files. They can also be viewed or shared through a simple Internet connection.
Two LiveDrive packages are available. The Backup Package is the basic package. The premium package is the Backup & Briefcase. The additional Briefcase component in the premium package includes several enhanced features such as accessing with a mobile device like an iPhone or Blackberry, accessing files using a FTP client and LAN transfers.
LiveDrive offers a free two week trial. No credit card is required for signing up. Pricing for the two plans can be calculated on a monthly basis or on a discounted yearly basis.
