ElephantDrive
ElephantDrive is an online backup and storage solution for PC Windows and Mac users. It works by first synchronizing a person's computer files and folders onto the company's data servers. This is done through the Internet. Afterwards, an installed application on the user's computer will periodically look for new and changed files, and will transfer these changes to ElephantDrive's servers.
Data recovery is easy and fast. Files can be accessed anywhere and at anytime so long as there's an Internet connection available. ElephantDrive uses a proprietary data delivery system which makes file transfers faster than most competitors in the industry.
Pricing for ElephantDrive services varies depending on the type of account a user has. There are two Home Edition versions: Home Edition and Home Plus Edition. Home Edition costs $4.95 per month and comes with unlimited storage. It however has restrictions that limit the service to 1 computer and 1GB maximum file sizes. Home Plus Edition costs $9.95 per month and also comes with unlimited storage. Its restrictions are a little bit more generous with 4 computers covered and 2GB maximum file sizes.
ElephantDrive Pro Edition is catered for business users. Two versions are available: Pro Edition and Pro Plus Edition. Pro Edition costs $35.95 per month, covers up to 10 computers and has 1TB of storage. Pro Plus Edition costs $99.95 per month, covers up to 20 computers and has available 2 TB of storage.
